How we handle your information

We only collect information you choose to give us. This falls into three groups:

• Appointment requests: full name, phone number, the service and (optional) doctor you’re interested in, your preferred date and time, an optional email address, and any notes you add about your dental concern.
• Contact form messages: your name, phone number, optional email address, and the message you write to us.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, the page you subscribed from, and your IP address (used only for spam prevention and to keep our subscriber list accurate).

Any dental or medical detail you choose to include in a note or message (for example, describing a symptom) is treated with the same confidentiality as information shared during a clinic visit — see “How We Protect Your Information” below. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on the Site.

We use the information you provide to:

• Confirm, reschedule, or follow up on appointment requests — usually by phone or WhatsApp
• Respond to questions submitted through the contact form
• Prepare your dentist for your visit when you’ve shared relevant notes in advance
• Send occasional oral-health tips and clinic updates, only to newsletter subscribers
• Maintain accurate clinic records and meet our recordkeeping obligations as a healthcare provider

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the clinic and this Site:

• With Dental Bee’s dentists and front-desk staff, to coordinate your appointment and care
• With service providers who host our website, deliver email, or send SMS/WhatsApp confirmations on our behalf — bound to use your data only to provide that service
• If required by Nepali law, regulation, or a valid request from a public authority

The Site embeds or links to a small number of third-party services:

• Google Maps, to show our clinic location and directions
• WhatsApp, for patients who prefer to message us directly (wa.me link)
• Our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok pages, linked from the footer

These services are operated by their respective providers and governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing those policies before interacting with embedded or linked content.

We keep appointment and contact records for as long as reasonably needed for clinic operations, continuity of care, and our recordkeeping obligations as a healthcare practice. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see “Your Rights” below, noting that some clinical records may need to be retained for a minimum period even after a deletion request.

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the information you share with us, and clinic staff treat patient details with the same confidentiality expected of any dental practice. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Dental Bee provides pediatric dentistry for children. Appointment and contact forms should be submitted by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor patient — the Site is not intended for children to use directly to submit their own information.

You can, at any time:

• Ask what information we hold about you, and request a correction if it’s inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your contact or newsletter information
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter using the link in any email, or by asking us directly

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site or our data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
